Modern navigation menu using HTML & CSS - Part 2.

The CSS navigation menu is now almost complete. We have our background & buttons complete. All we need now is to alter one of the buttons to give our float effect.

Select any one of the button layers. Now, select the pixels in that layer by holding 'CTRL' and clicking the thumbnail as we have done previously.

Change the foreground color to #afd1ea and fill the selection. With the layer still selected browse to the layer style window. Apply the following effects:

This should produce something similar to the image seen below:

You should now have a number of identical buttons on your navigation and one which looks like the above.

The design is now complete and we are ready to chop out a few images and begin coding.
